What is your role at Rippe Keane Marketing? At Rippe Keane I am an Account Coordinator. In my role I support our amazing team and clients. I am an organizational expert, a lover of learning (which means I ask way too many questions), and team player. I love facing new challenges and tackling complex projects with the team.
If you had your own talk show, who would your first three guests be? I know the first two on my list aren’t actual people, but are characters on a show. But since I will never own my own talk show, I am going to dream big — Cosmo Kramer, because I am weirdly obsessed with Seinfeld and have seen every episode at least three times; Charlie Day from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, because I laugh hysterically at almost anything he says; and lastly, Brett Favre, well, because I am from Wisconsin and that would make my entire family’s dreams come true.
What first sparked your interest in marketing? To be honest, I was going to go to school for just Business Management to follow in my mom’s footsteps, but I ended up being talked into adding on another major, in Marketing. I didn’t realize how much I LOVED marketing until I took a course taught by my favorite professor at Edgewood College. I learned that marketing wasn’t just about being creative and selling your brand, it was about emotions, strategy, personalization, telling your story… it’s a whole world of endless opportunities where my creativity can run wild!
What is something you’ve done that no one would expect? One summer I decided I was sick of living in Wisconsin, so I found a job in Pittsburgh, packed up my car and drove there. Luckily I have family there, or my “grand” idea would have been very short-lived.
If you knew you could not fail, what would you do? I would travel the world. You may read this and think, well, she could do that, but there is one major thing preventing me from doing this… money. If I could travel the world and not have to worry about how I would get from place to place, or how I would afford a place to stay or food to eat, I wouldn’t be writing this, because I would be on a plane or strolling the streets in Ireland.
Are you spring, summer, fall or winter? Why? Summer — hands down! I live for the summer… I am not sure why I live in Wisconsin, because the rest of the year I just dream about summer days. Sure, a snow storm is nice here and there, but when the sun is shining I feel like the opportunities of things to do are endless! From outdoor activities to eating way too much Culver’s ice cream, I can’t get enough of sunny, hot days.
