Marketing Intern

Rippe Keane Marketing has an immediate opening for a marketing communications intern. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious student or recent graduate to gain valuable experience in a fun, high-energy and collaborative work environment. Rippe Keane welcomes those who relish the chance to bring creative ideas and innovative concepts to a project.

The intern will work as a collaborative part of the marketing department, assisting with the development of marketing communications and strategies. Other responsibilities may include: Market research, public relations, event marketing and planning, writing and distribution of press releases, drafting and editing marketing copy, media outreach (via traditional and non-traditional outlets) obtaining media rates and kits in target markets, and execution of marketing and advertising strategies.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Major or coursework in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Ability to handle several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Strong research skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Experience with social media and web design a plus

Related experience from jobs, involvement in student organizations, or other internships is also beneficial.

Graphic Design Intern

Rippe Keane Marketing has an immediate opening for a graphic design intern. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious student or recent graduate to gain valuable experience in a fun and refreshing work environment. Rippe Keane welcomes those who relish the chance to bring creative ideas and innovative concepts to a project.

The intern will work as a collaborative part of the creative department to develop a variety of design-driven print and interactive media.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Significant experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Ability to work on several projects at one time and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Stellar communication skills
  • Relevant training and coursework preferred
  • Able to start immediately

In addition to an aptitude for design, you'll find that a quick wit, keen sense of humor, and love of lunchtime trivia is a plus. Related experience from jobs, involvement in student organizations, or other internships is also beneficial.
